My Dad used to call me his little gypsy. After wandering off and coming home I would tell him about all my small adventures in the village. Growing up I replaced the village with the city of Amsterdam. I studied Spanish and Cultural Studies at the University of Amsterdam. My small adventures in the village became worldwide adventures. I love that in this business I still get to dream, be creative, travel to new places, and meet many new people worldwide.
My love for worldwide wedding planning started with traveling and working worldwide. During my adventures, I would meet new people with different cultural backgrounds. I always found it fascinating to speak different languages and hear their stories from across the globe. This led to starting my own wedding planning worldwide business Wedding Guru! And I am happy to say I have worked with couples from South Africa to Brazil and from Scotland to the USA. And many more nationalities and a lot of wedding planning in worldwide destinations!
